This man needs no introduction, but we’ll give you one anyway. Jamie joined the band in January 2020, having spent most of his singing career as a solo-swing act, playing in distinguished venues such as the Ritz. However, we truly believe he has found his calling now that he’s turned to rock & roll. His unique tone adds a welcome twist to the most loved classics of our set.

Lead guitarist, sound engineer, lighting tech, all round nice guy – Matt’s roles in the band are endless. Wielding his axe from a young age and striving to play like his idols, playing covers is his natural musical habitat. With a background in music technology, getting onto the other side of the mixing desk and joining McVicar has allowed Matt to justify his obsession with buying guitars and gear along with having a good old rock out!
Ed started playing guitar at the age of 10 and it wasn’t until the age of 19 when he started a course at West Herts Music college in Watford, he found the right instrument – the bass! Playing in originals and covers bands since the age of 13, Ed had thought he’d played most songs on the covers circuit – until he joined McVicar in late 2015 and discovered the art of the rock mash-up. As one half of the McVicar rhythm section, Ed can be found pulling all sorts of bass faces to the funkier side of the set.
Ed joined the band officially in early 2018 after depping a few gigs and getting a taste for the high life! An absolute flurry of arms and legs when on stage, Ed’s presence behind the kit is second to none. Gigging since he was 13, Ed has played some iconic venues across the country and puts all his experience into playing with McVicar.
